Refund policy
Shipping, Returns & Exchanges
Effective date: October 31, 2025
1. Shipping
- We ship from Georgia, USA.
- Orders are usually processed in 2–4 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding holidays).
- Shipping times depend on carrier and location (typically 3–7 business days in the U.S.).
- You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking once your order ships.
- Shades of Nature is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
Lost / stolen packages:
If tracking shows “Delivered” but you didn’t receive it, please check with your household, neighbors, and local post office first. Then email support@ourshadesofnature.com with your order number — we’ll do our best to help, but we can’t guarantee replacement for packages marked delivered.
2. Returns & Exchanges (Apparel / Physical Products)
We want you to love your order. If something isn’t right, here’s how we handle it.
Return window:
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and with tags attached.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged/wrong.
Non-returnable items:
- Final sale / clearance items
- Gift cards
- Digital products (PDFs, itineraries, guides)
- Worn or damaged items
- Trip or event deposits (see Trip Terms)
How to start a return:
Email support@ourshadesofnature.com with:
- Order number
- Item(s) you want to return
- Reason (sizing, damaged, not what I expected, etc.)
If approved, we’ll send return instructions. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
Exchanges:
- If we have the size/color you need, we’re happy to do an exchange.
- If not, we’ll process a return (per above) and you can place a new order.
Condition checks:
We reserve the right to refuse returns that are worn, washed, have deodorant/makeup marks, smell of smoke/fragrance, or are missing tags.
Refunds:
- Refunds are issued to the original form of payment once the item is received and inspected.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Please allow 5–10 business days for your bank to process the refund.
3. Digital Products (Ebooks, Guides, Itineraries, Tripwires)
Because digital products are delivered instantly, all digital product sales are final.
If you have trouble accessing your download or didn’t receive the email link, contact us at support@ourshadesofnature.com and we’ll resend it.
4. Trips, Events & Experiences
Trips and events have their own policy because we have to reserve spots, lodging, and activities in advance.
- All trip bookings are governed by our Trip Terms & Conditions.
- Deposits are typically non-refundable.
- Balance payments and cancellation windows will be listed on the trip page.
- If a trip does not meet minimum headcount or is affected by events outside our control (weather, closures, force majeure), we may offer rescheduling or trip credit per the Trip Terms.

5. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrived damaged or we sent the wrong item, please email support@ourshadesofnature.com within 7 days of delivery with:
- your order number
- a photo of the item/issue
- the packaging (if damaged in transit)
We will repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.
